Lehman’s goal is to document his observations of the fusion between the digital realm and the analog world that we are currently existing in. The roles that we take on in our daily tasks as humans seem to change intermittently throughout the day as we go in and out of the internet. We are now tethered to it and unable to totally disconnect. Through observing this, Lehman harnesses his imagination to create new characters and creatures that are allegories devoted to explaining who we truly are if we cut out all the nonsense of worklife, money, and other things that try to keep us from being free.
Born in Pennsylvania and moving to the NYC metro area at a young age, Lehman was exposed to two very contrasting speeds of life. Residing on the west coast for the last ten years he bounced around various cities, exploring and learning. He has shown in Portland, Seattle, Tucson, and Soho New York at Superchief Gallery.
