Sarah Brandle is an artist inspired by the natural world around her. She takes inspiration from outdoor adventures, flowers, trees, beaches and sunsets but also her urban home life in Portland, Oregon.
Her artwork is one of a kind and stirs an emotional response. Collectors often comment that her work, “Brings them peace.” Seeing the struggles in the world her artwork offers a reprieve in the form of color and movement.
I’ve been creating art for as long as I can remember. Drawing, painting, making things has always been a daily practice.
When I turned forty I decided it was time to start taking my childhood dream of being an artist seriously. I decided to quit my corporate job and dedicate myself more fully to my passion of art. Following this dream hasn’t always been easy, but definitely worth it!
Currently, I create paintings from my small extra bedroom “studio.” My work is from my home & heart to yours.
My artwork is made from my deepest feelings. I hope they stir emotions in you too. Currently I am inspired by nature around me and how it interacts with my urban life. You will often see subtle forms of flowers or trees contrasted with squares or shapes of buildings and architecture. I love the way organic shapes play off the structure we as humans try to create.
